I agree that this depth of political, economic and social commentary was not the original mission of the Examiner. I started by working out of our bedroom, slavishly devoted to neighborhood-centric stories. This website allows us to publishing at least 10 times as much information as we could in a print edition alone. That has brought in many other writers and topics that I never imagined even two-three years ago and multiplied the subjects on which we provide unique information and perspective. Readers can still get neighborhood news in the Examiner, and they are free to ignore the rest.
The morality police AKA DSA always ask the same question. Who are we going to throw under the bus next? They have zero good answers to the problems in the USA.
