Thanks to the Pearl Neighborhood Association for sponsoring an important event on public safety, as well as thanks to District Attorney Nathan Vasquez and Police Chief Bob Day for participating and sharing their perspectives.
For those interesting in improving public safety throughout the city, including by hiring more police officers and improving response times, sign the Enhanced Community Safety Initiative petition by:
1. Finding a volunteer or paid individual circulating a petition at a number of locations throughout the city, including the Pearl Culinary Farmers Market on Sundays.
Pathetic. All those people gathered to vent--and the council did what it wanted to do. Petition: good luck hitting 40-thousand. An absurd number, plucked out of thin air by the pols. The socialists could care less what the people at the Armory think; in their view, those people are too rich, too white, too comfortable. If that group was truly dangerous to la revolution, the hammer would have come down on Bob Day, pronto. He'll keep his job as long as he's useful.

Fingers crossed that Mitch Green gets 86'd as well.
Ditch Mitch!
This state and county and city need people who have skills in managing money. No one I know has any confidence in local government.
