Job well done, and thank you for being a good citizen. Hopefully, Ms. Reynolds will reach out to you for feedback on legislation in the next legislative session.

Autumn Sharp is a role model for all of us! Thank you Autumn for calling Lisa Reynolds to account. There are so many Democratic Legislators in our House, Senate and Mahonia Hall that are deaf and blind to their constituents and common sense. And I say that as a lifelong member of the party.

Time for a clean up!

The Democratic party machine won--hands down--across the entire ballot. That is a simple fact. The machine chews up and spits out solitary activists such as Ms. Sharp while hardly breaking a sweat.

If anyone thinks Sen Reynolds will "reach out" to just about anyone in her district, beyond the usual union/NGO axis, you're naive--and you'll lose again.

Portland voters (only 28-percent bothered to fill out ballots) are happy as clams with pols such as Reynolds. She's certainly not the worst of the lot (try Lamar Wise for an hors d'oeuvre), but she does what she is told and will continue to do so for as long as her masters want. Then she will resign, there will be an appointment by the party, and the cycle will continue.

The pee-pul have spoken.
