The NW Examiner launched its Substack platform seven months ago. The Daily NW Examiner, as we like to call it, has been well received by readers. We have 1,871 subscribers, 445 of them paid.

While these numbers are encouraging, we’d sure like to move more of you from the free subscriber list to the paid subscriber list. As most of you are aware, local journalism in America is vanishing while, as always, elected officials at the city, county and neighborhood levels must be held to account.
